What should I do if I have difficulty placing my order online?
If you experience any difficulty placing your order online, or otherwise
require assistance, call The Quilt Yard at (715) 597-2452 between
the hours of 9:30 AM and 5 PM CST, Monday through Friday.
How do I know if I placed my order successfully?
Once you have submitted your order, an order summary page will be
displayed with all of your order details. You may want to print
this for your records. You will then receive an email confirming
that your order has been successfully received online. If you placed
your order over the phone and did not provide an email address,
you will need to contact The Quilt Yard at (715) 597-2452 between
the hours of 9:30 AM and 5 PM CST, Monday through Friday.
Can I change or cancel my order after I have submitted it?
Once your order is submitted, we cannot guarantee that it can be
canceled or changed. If you realize you made a mistake, or simply
change your mind about your order, please call The Quilt Yard at
(715) 597-2452 between the hours of 9:30 AM and 5 PM CST, Monday through
Friday, as soon as possible and we will make every effort to accommodate
your request.

When will I be billed for my order?
We will bill your credit card when your order is shipped.
What forms of payment does The Quilt Yard accept online?
We currently accept Mastercard and VISA.
Will I be charged sales tax?
If you are a resident of the state of Wisconsin, law requires us
to charge sales tax on your purchases. If you are not a resident
of the state of Wisconsin, we are not required to charge sales tax
on your purchases. However, by law you may be liable for any taxes
due in your state.

How does The Quilt Yard calculate delivery charges?
In most cases, the Quilt Yard will ship your order by U.S. Postal Service unless otherwise requested. Delivery charges are based on the total order amount per shipping address. Below is our delivery cost table outlining our rates. UPS delivery also is available.

Does The Quilt Yard ship to International addresses?
Yes. The Quilt Yard will ship GLOBAL PRIORITY MAIL to all countries
on the Global Priority system. Shipments will be billed as quoted by the US Postal Service.
Can I ship my purchase to a PO Box?
Yes. All shipments to a PO Box will be shipped via the US Postal
Service. UPS will not deliver to a PO Box. Rates will vary.
How will my order be shipped?
Your order will be shipped via US Postal Service unless otherwise
requested. UPS is also available. UPS is trackable and insured.
UPS insurance on the first $100 of your order shipped UPS is free, each
additional $100 of insured value will be $0.50 and will be charged
to your bill. If your order is to be shipped to a residence, UPS
requires an additional fee of $1.75 which will be charged to your
bill. UPS will NOT deliver to a PO Box, therefore orders being sent
to a PO Box address will be shipped via US Postal Service.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Items in stock will be shipped using US Postal Service and usually
arrive within 3-5 business days. Orders sent to a PO Box address
will be shipped US Postal Service (UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes)
and will arrive within 3-5 business days. Purchases shipped using
UPS usually arrive in 2-3 business days and UPS Overnight express
delivery will arrive in 1-2 days if you place your order by 12PM
CST, Monday through Thursday. Orders shipped express to Hawaii or
Alaska will arrive in 1-2 business days. Backorders are excluded.
Business days do not include Saturday or Sunday.

Returns & Exchanges
What is The Quilt Yard's return policy?
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, The Quilt Yard will
accept returns and exchanges within 90 days from the date of purchase,
in its original condition. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Merchandise refunds will only be made in the original form of payment.
There are no returns on books or patterns, unless defective.
How do I make a return?
Purchases made from The Quilt Yard online store can be returned
by mail at buyer's expense. If you have any questions, please call
The Quilt Yard at (715) 597-2452 between the hours of 9:30 AM and
5 PM CST, Monday through Friday.
When will I be credited for my return?
We credit your account as soon as we process your return. Check
with your bank to see when they will credit your account. To check

How do I know my credit card number will be safe?
We take every precaution to ensure that your personal data, including
credit card information, is as secure as it can be. The Quilt Yard
site utilizes Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology on all pages
where personal information is requested. This encryption technology
prevents anyone from using your personal data if intercepted. The
Quilt Yard also takes every precaution when storing your credit
card number in our database by encrypting it, rendering it useless
to anyone trying to access it.
Will The Quilt Yard sell my email address or other personal
information?
No. We use personal information provided on order forms, such as
a purchaser's name, email address, physical address, and credit
card number, to fulfill merchandise orders. We may also use order
information to contact a purchaser when necessary, such as when
a delivery may be delayed or when an ordered product is out of stock.
The Quilt Yard may use personal information to notify consumers
about new products or services. If we do, we will provide you with
an email address by which you may inform us that you do not wish
to receive such materials in the future. The Quilt Yard will not
share any personal information without your permission with any
unaffiliated third parties, unless required by law.
